Free Workshop!

Spend this Saturday morning (July 30th) learning how to select plants for your landscape that will thrive in our South Florida environment and save you money and work in the landscape! This workshop covers some Florida-Friendly plant selection and efficient use of water in the landscape to make your plants healthy and happy. At the workshop we will also be raffling off some Florida-Friendly plants including: desert cassia (Senna polyphylla),

frangipani (Plumeria spp.) bromeliads and more!

Make sure to bring your old inefficient showerheads (house must have been built before 1996 and only 2 per home address) and incandescent light bulbs (limit of 3 per address) to exchange for new efficient models thanks to Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department and Office of Sustainability.
